ResponsibilitiesExecute the activities of labeling and packaging of medical products in accordance with work instructions (SOPs), production orders, and approved specifications.
Verify that the packaging materials and labels correspond to the part number, batch, and version indicated in the production order, ensuring that there are no discrepancies.
Visually inspect products and components to detect defects, damage, or contamination before and during the packaging process in accordance with procedures, SOPs, and required visual aids.
Accurately record the required information in production sheets, forms, or electronic systems, complying with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Ensure product traceability, maintaining the correct identification of batches, labels, and quantities throughout the process.
Prepare, clean, and maintain the work area, equipment, and materials in accordance with established cleaning procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ensure that all products are packaged in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices, along with the company's policy and safety standards.
Operate the pharmaceutical product packaging equipment, strictly adhering to all safety practices and guidelines.
Follow procedures to achieve production with quality standards.
Comply with in-process quality controls, notifying any deviations, non-conforming products, or anomalies to the leader or supervisor.
Contribute to the training of new staff on the operation of equipment, safety practices, and company policies.
Perform basic maintenance, change, configuration, and troubleshooting of packaging equipment.
Ensure compliance with the standards established by the 5S organizational methodology, resolve previously identified problems, and identify new areas for the implementation of 5S.
Comply with other functions requested by your supervisor.
QualificationsExcellent hand-eye coordination for the inspection of small and delicate characters.
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations (additions, subtractions, multiplications, basic fractions).
Understanding and application of Good Documentation Practices (GDP's).
Knowledge in the preparation, setup, and operation of semi-automated production machines (desirable).
Experience:
- Preferably 1 year in medical device manufacturing and highly regulated companies.
Education:
- Complete primary school.
