Outreach and Engagement Specialist - Omni Ride

Omni Ride, a public transportation agency located in Prince William County, Virginia, is seeking an energetic and creative Outreach and Engagement Specialist to join our Marketing team and lead community outreach efforts, develop engaging content, and promote Omni Ride services through digital and traditional communications throughout our service area.

• Plan and participate in community outreach events and public engagement activities.
• Create compelling content for social media, websites, newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials.
• Develop written communications, including the creation of engaging digital content including graphics, short-form videos, photos, stories, reels, and written posts that highlight Omni Ride services and community partnerships.
• Maintain and update website and social media content.
• Collaborate with internal teams on special projects and rider outreach initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Experience in marketing, communications, public outreach, social media management, and content creation.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Valid Virginia driver's license required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, or another language commonly spoken within the Omni Ride service area, is preferred.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events.

$72,823 – $94,670 annually, commensurate with experience, plus attractive benefits. This position offers hybrid office/telework after an initial training period, and the home office location is Manassas, VA.
