PT (3 pm-11:30 pm)

Responsibilities

Direct supervision of nursing care
Assure that residents receive the care identified to meet their health care needs
Ensure that policies and procedures of the nursing department are followed by nursing staff
Act as person in charge of the entire facility in the absence of senior management staff

Required Qualifications

Current unencumbered RN license
CPR certification
Five years of experience in a long‑term care facility
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the elderly
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long‑term care
Knowledge of current nursing techniques, federal and state nursing home regulations, and experience in regulatory surveys, resident assessments, and recertification
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

One year of supervisory experience preferred
