FT Pre Op PACU Manager
Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center is a state-of-the‑art multispecialty surgery center committed to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in an efficient outpatient setting. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pre Op/PACU Manager to lead our perioperative services team and ensure exceptional clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to Pre Op and PACU staff, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient‑centered care delivery
- Oversee daily department operations, staffing, and workflow efficiency to support surgical scheduling and throughput
- Monitor patient care processes, evaluate outcomes, and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise, coach, and develop nursing staff, including scheduling, performance management, and ongoing education/training
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards, including infection prevention and patient safety protocols
- Manage departmental resources effectively, including staffing levels, supply utilization, and budget adherence
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional patient experience
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 3-5 years of nursing experience in Pre Op, PACU, or perioperative services required
- Leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Strong knowledge of ambulatory surgery center regulations and accreditation standards
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment while maintaining a focus on patient safety and quality
