Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Step into a meaningful role supporting students in a dynamic school setting as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This contract position is onsite and tailored for dedicated professionals passionate about one-on-one nursing care. Working closely with a single student, you’ll make a daily impact while growing your clinical experience in a supportive educational environment.

Schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm, ensuring you maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key responsibilities include seizure monitoring, providing first aid as needed, and administering seizure rescue medications. You’ll also accompany the student to and from school by bus each day, offering essential continuity of care and support.

• Current valid LPN or LVN license in good standing
• Previous experience with pediatrics, school-based nursing, or 1:1 care preferred
• Skilled in seizure monitoring, first aid response, and medication administration
• Ability to remain attentive and calm under pressure
• Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a school setting and on school transportation

• Deliver dedicated 1:1 care to a student throughout the school day and during bus rides
• Closely monitor for and respond to any seizure activity or medical emergencies
• Administer prescribed rescue medications promptly and accurately
• Document observations, interventions, and medication administrations per protocol
• Communicate proactively with school staff, healthcare providers, and family as needed
• Participate in training or meetings relevant to the student’s care
