- Drive store sales and profitability through merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
- Oversee daily operations – inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
- Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong relationships with the community to enhance brand presence.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitor activities; identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
- Additional duties and projects as required.
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Analytical skills – ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data‑driven decisions.
- Flexibility – willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Tech‑savvy – proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
- English language skills – able to speak, read, and write English and perform business‑related mathematics.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift 5–25lb items, stoop, kneel, and climb ladders as required.
- Open availability, including hours necessary to open and close the store (mornings, days, nights).
- Minimum standard work week of 44 hours, increased during peak periods.
- Require reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability during hours necessary to open and close the store on a minimum of 5 days per week.
- Minimum 30‑hour work week.
Requires prolonged standing (approximately 5–14hours per day). During peak periods, work for up to 12hours per day. Must stoop, kneel, reach, pull, and lift items weighing 5–25lb, sometimes more. Requires good vision with color differentiation. Work environment is moderately noisy.
EducationHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent; 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership strongly preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CompensationAssistant Manager: $19.38–$22.50 per hour with bonus opportunities in addition to base pay if store KPIs are met.
Supervisor: $14.77–$14.77 per hour.
All roles eligible for company 401(k) plan, and full‑time roles eligible for medical, dental, vision, sick leave, parental leave, and company‑paid time off.
