As a Security Officer Armed Patrol with Active Clearance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. This Part‑Time position allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication in a technology‑focused location.

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and efficiently, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and sensitive infrastructure, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions, maintenance issues, or policy violations.
• Support incident reporting and post orders by maintaining accurate logs and following assigned protocols during changing site conditions.

• Armed guard card/license is required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Minimum age of 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; criminal history and drug screen may be considered.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state and local laws and may need to be obtained prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
