As a  Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Rounds  in  Manassas, VA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day  Time      Mon  03:00 PM - 11:00 PM    Sun  03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
How This Role Works:
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”):  You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:  In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a residential location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or property contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and/or vendor access as directed, and help support community rules and property policies through professional interaction.
Assist with security-related reporting, note maintenance and/or property issues observed during patrols, and help support an orderly environment for residents and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card and/or license is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
