Position: Security Officer - Armed Patrol Full Time
As a  Security Officer Armed Patrol Full Time  in  Manassas, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and staff with professional customer service and communication.

Day  Time      Wed  03:00 PM - 11:00 PM    Thur  03:00 PM - 11:00 PM    Fri  03:00 PM - 11:00 PM    Sat  03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or local emergency personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to follow community rules, report unauthorized entry attempts, and/or support a professional residential environment.
Complete routine reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, and share observed issues with supervisors and/or designated property representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

An armed guard card and/or license is required.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
The ability to comfortably use a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
