** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entrances, badge access activity, and sensitive areas such as server rooms, equipment spaces, and loading zones, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.

+ Support access control, visitor processing, and after-hours security-related checks while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail in a fast-paced telecommunications and data environment.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess an armed guard card/license.

+ Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Possess baton certification preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
