Position Title
SCHOOL SECURITY OFFICER I – 195 DAY
LocationInnovation Elementary, Manassas, VA
Job SummaryThis position is focused on prevention of crime within the Prince William County School system. The security officer will investigate incidents, talk with students to determine details, and ensure safety and security of the assigned school.
Responsibilities- Patrol parking lots, school entryways, and hallways.
- Provide protection of students, staff, and property.
- Investigate school incidents by speaking with students to determine specifics.
- Maintain overall safety and security of the premises.
- Must be able to work in person and physically report for work on site.
- Full background investigation conducted by the Security and Crisis Readiness Department.
- Hourly schedule of 7.5 hours per day.
$25.09 - $40.18 per hour ($36,697 - $58,762 per year) – hiring range.
