Data Center Security Specialist

• Drive operational security excellence across multiple facilities within a short driving distance.
• Identify and immediately address physical security gaps and shortcomings.
• Interface with and direct vendors for new security construction, repairs, daily security operations, patrols, and planning.
• Extract metrics and monitor improvements through hard data analysis.
• Suggest enhancements to electronic surveillance and access control systems.
• Lead efforts to educate data center occupants on reducing false alarms.
• Write and implement security processes and procedures.
• Prepare reports, create presentations, and communicate status of physical security operations to management.

• Experience with access control and CCTV systems.
• At least 2 years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.

• Experience using data and metrics to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
