Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Security Clearance Perimeter Inspection in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM Thur 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
* Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, data infrastructure areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
* Maintain awareness of site activity, verify credentials as required, and report security-related observations, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
* Complete accurate reports and required documentation for patrols, incidents, and/or emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess an armed guard card or license.
* Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
