We are seeking a full-time Laborer to support our wet utility construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with the installation of stormwater, sanitary sewer, and water lines, and perform general labor tasks on-site. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with trenching, grading, and pipe installation.
- Load and unload materials and tools at the job site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in daily safety meetings.
- Operate hand tools and small equipment as needed.
- Support crew members with various tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the Foreman immediately.
- Previous experience in construction or utility work preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks that require standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
- Visual acuity for identifying hazards and performing tasks safely.
