Climate Solutions Equipment Associate

Role Overview

As a Climate Solutions Equipment Associate within the Power/HVAC division at United Rentals, you will perform jobsite installations, minor repairs on HVAC equipment, and safely operate delivery vehicles to install HVAC and dehumidification/air purification equipment at customer locations.

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals’ policies and procedures.

• Perform minor repairs, maintenance checks, and cleaning of equipment.
• Report equipment condition before and after usage.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment.
• Perform other duties assigned as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining HVAC equipment preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to the position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to be on an “on call” rotation for 24/7 emergency service.
