We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drain Technician to join our team in Manassas, VA. As a Drain Technician at My Plumber Plus, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality drain cleaning services while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose drain issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Complete all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home service calls.
• Provide camera service for mainline stoppages.
• Describe diagnosed problems to customers and provide solutions.
• Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, effectively communicating drain issues and recommended solutions to generate sales opportunities by explaining the features and benefits of each solution.
• Obtain agreement for services before performing work.
• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to customers, maximizing revenue potential.
• Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service experiences and resolving any customer concerns or issues promptly.
• Maintain truck inventory of parts and restock truck to minimum stock levels.
• Be able to remove and reset a toilet and a p-trap.
• Operate equipment in a safe manner.
• Wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and co-workers.
• Participate in required staff meetings and training.

• 2 or more years of sewer and drain cleaning, replacement, and sales experience.
• Experience operating a sewer camera.
• Service Titan experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of septic systems, sewer and drain systems, and underground piping.
• Repairing underground drains and sewers using conventional excavation methods or experience using trenchless pipe replacement equipment would be a plus.
• Personable and professional.
• High integrity and strong communication skills.
