Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer
* Installs trench boxes as necessary
* Operates equipment in compliance with Muller's safety policies and OSHA procedures
* Ensure proper excavation & compaction procedures are performed
* Ensures all equipment is maintained by performing daily equipment inspections & grease equipment at required intervals
* Demonstrate a working knowledge of underground utilities
* Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job
* Manage quality control and production
* Train team members as needed in a hands-on manner

Qualifications:

* Must be able to communicate directly with clients
* 1 year of experience or more with wet utility
* Must be able to operate large excavators with precision
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Must be able to work in confined spaces
* Ability to access secured facilities
* High attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

* Employee must be physically fit to perform duties of the job in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling (up to 50 lbs.).
* Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.
* Other physical requirements include walking, climbing, balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending or crawling.
* Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Compensation:
