Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia is looking for an experienced Residential Service Craftsman who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and genuinely likes helping homeowners improve and maintain their homes.

Whether you've spent years in construction, remodeling, maintenance, or you've built a reputation as the person who can fix just about anything, this could be the perfect next step.

• $25–$45 per hour (based on experience)

• Repairing drywall and completing touch‑up painting
• Installing and repairing doors, locks, trim, and hardware
• Performing carpentry repairs and installations
• Completing light plumbing repairs
• Installing lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and other light electrical work
• Assembling furniture and installing shelving
• Completing general home maintenance and improvement projects
• Reviewing customers' to‑do lists and prioritizing repairs
• Explaining repair options and communicating clearly with homeowners
• Preparing estimates for additional work when appropriate

We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently but values being part of a supportive team.

• 10+ years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, handyman services, or home maintenance
• Skills across multiple trades
• Pride in delivering quality workmanship
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem‑solving abilities
• A professional appearance and positive attitude
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Your own basic hand tools
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Fluent English
• Live within or near our Northern Virginia service area
