Electrician - Industrial Maintenance in Manassas

A-Line Staffing is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Electrician in Manassas, VA 20110. The role involves working for a major manufacturing company with career growth potential.

• Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8 Hours
• Pay Range: $50-55 hourly (Dependent on Experience)

• Maintain and repair electrical components of facilities equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including inspections and contractor coordination.
• Apply knowledge of Electrical Code (NFPA 70) and NFPA 70E standards while following all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams and perform feeder switching on redundant switchboards.
• Respond to equipment failures and alarms, restoring functionality and ensuring system reliability.
• Monitor abnormal system behavior and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and improve performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation for maintenance activities, testing, calibration, and equipment performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostics on complex facilities equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on switch gear (LV/MV), UPS systems, batteries, and distribution panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical failures and restore uptime quickly and safely.
• Execute safe switching procedures and verify system status prior to energization.
• Install, maintain, and repair facility electrical equipment including circuit breakers, controllers, switches, motors, meters, conduit, relays, and transmission systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment to diagnose and repair system issues.

• 4+ years of experience working with electrical systems, High Voltage / Medium Voltage training experience.
• Valid Electrical Journeyman License.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or semiconductor electrical systems.
• Associate degree in a related field or relevant electrical certifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical distribution systems, batteries, switch gear (LV / MV), UPS systems, and power infrastructure.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
