We're looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic who can turn wrenches, troubleshoot problems, and get quality work out the door.

If you've spent your career in an independent repair shop, dealership, fleet maintenance operation, or similar professional repair environment
, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time position with a busy independent repair shop in Manassas, VA. You'll work Monday–Friday in a heated and air-conditioned shop with a steady flow of work.

We offer a 30-hour weekly minimum guarantee or turned hours, whichever is greater.

We're looking for someone comfortable handling a wide range of mechanical repair work, including:

  • Brakes
  • Steering and suspension
  • Wheel bearings and hubs
  • Drivetrain and driveline repairs
  • General mechanical repairs
  • Preventive maintenance and service
  • Diagnosing common vehicle concerns
  • Scan-tool diagnostics
  • Light electrical troubleshooting
  • Vehicle inspections and identifying needed repairs

You do not need to specialize in one manufacturer or vehicle line.

ASE certifications are not required.

We're less interested in what your current job title is and more interested in what you can actually do in the bay.

You should:

  • Have professional automotive repair experience
  • Be able to complete mechanical repairs independently
  • Know how to troubleshoot a problem instead of guessing
  • Be comfortable with brakes, steering, suspension and drivetrain work
  • Be able to use scan tools and diagnostic equipment when needed
  • Have your own tools for general repair work
  • Have a valid driver's license

This is not an entry-level, apprentice or lube-tech position.

What You Can Expect
  • $30–$50/hr based on experience and ability
  • 30-hour weekly minimum guarantee or turned hours, whichever is greater
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • Heated and air-conditioned shop
  • Full-time, year-round position
  • Steady flow of work
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Employee discount
  • Training and professional development opportunities

Already Working Somewhere Else?

That's okay.

Good mechanics aren't always actively looking for another job. If you're currently working at a dealership, independent repair shop, or fleet maintenance operation and you're wondering what else is out there, we're happy to have a confidential conversation.

If you're an experienced mechanic who can come in, turn wrenches and get work done correctly, we want to talk to you.
