Drain Technician

My Plumber Plus is seeking a skilled Drain Technician to join our residential service team in the greater Washington, D.C. area. In this role, you'll diagnose and clear clogs, perform sewer and drain cleaning, and use augers, jetters, and camera equipment to resolve issues in homes. You'll travel to scheduled appointments, communicate clearly with customers, provide repair options, and complete accurate service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential service calls for drain and sewer issues
• Diagnose clogs and blockages using appropriate tools and methods
• Operate drain cleaning equipment including augers, snakes, and hydro jetters
• Perform sewer camera inspections and locate problem areas
• Explain findings and repair options to homeowners in a clear, professional manner
• Complete accurate service tickets, reports, and recommendations
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in safe working condition
• Follow safety procedures and company policies on every job
• Participate in ongoing technical and customer service training
