Plumber/HVAC/Service Technician
As a mechanical contractor, BION installs heating and cooling (HVAC) systems, plumbing systems and medical gas systems with a specialization in the healthcare industry. Our work involves assembling, installing, alter and/or repairing piping systems that carry water, steam, air or other liquids or gases along with the installation of HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures and medical gas equipment. The Mechanic Position is a full time (40 hour per week), hourly position.
Plumber/HVAC/ServiceTechnician
As a mechanical contractor, BION installs heating and cooling (HVAC) systems, plumbing systems and medical gas systems with a specialization in the healthcare industry. Our work involves assembling, installing, alter and/or repairing piping systems that carry water, steam, air or other liquids or gases along with the installation of HVAC equipment, plumbing fixtures and medical gas equipment. The Mechanic Position is a full time (40 hour per week), hourly position.
Our Service and Maintenance Department offers solutions for your immediate emergency repairs, equipment replacements, diagnostic recommendations, annual testing, and cyclic preventative maintenance of Commercial Mechanical, Plumbing and Medical Gas Systems to include, but not limited to, the following:
- A/C and Refrigerator Walk-in Units
- Air Handling Units including Rooftop Units, Self-Contained Units, IT Room Systems
- Backflow Devices including testing, repairing and re-certifications
- Boiler Systems
- Chillers and Cooling Towers
- Computer Room A/C Units
- Fire/Smoke Damper Inspection and Repair for JCAHO Complianc
- Heat Exchangers
- Heat Pumps
- Medical Gas Installation and Repairs
- Motors
- Pneumatics, Valves and Control Systems
- Piping and Pipe Repairs
- Preventative Maintenance Contracts
- Pumps, Ejector Pits and Sump Pumps
- Steam Specialties, Pressure Reducing Stations, Condensate Traps & Pumps
- A valid driver's license and dependable transportation as employee will be asked to drive from jobsite to jobsite. It may also be necessary to drive company vehicles for company tasks.
- Working knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems to include current HVAC, Plumbing and Medical Gas code knowledge and generally accepted industry standards.
- Prior Hospital Experience Preferred.
