Administrative Assistant

Our client is a government agency serving one of the largest and fastest‑growing constituencies in Northern Virginia, focused on enhancing quality of life for residents.

This is a part‑time position based in Manassas, VA, paying $17.00 per hour. This is a contract position.

• Work collaboratively with multiple teams, including the Front Desk, Library, Reimbursement, Building Management, Security staff, Infant Information Center, and Parent Infant Education Program in Early Intervention.
• Provide excellent customer service on the phone and face‑to‑face to internal and external customers, adhering to all HIPAA security and privacy regulations.
• Respond timely to emails received from internal and external customers.
• Answer phones independently and direct callers appropriately.
• Gather outlined information for new referrals.
• Provide reception at the front desk.
• Support staff with requests in the Support Hub.
• Ensure sufficient public awareness materials are available through inventory management, preparing family packets, and organizing brochures.
• Assist with record requests, updating pediatrician lists, staff phone directories, and closing cases in Credible, if possible.
