SWIFT is seeking a talented and versatile Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust applications. This role involves working across both front‑end and back‑end technologies to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.

• Develop and implement new user‑facing features using modern front‑end frameworks and libraries.
• Design, develop, and maintain server‑side logic, databases, and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and industry trends, including usage of AI tools like Windsurf and Microsoft Copilot.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years experience in at least one back‑end Object‑Oriented programming.
• Programming languages such as C++, Java, Python.
• Strong understanding and hands‑on development experience in frameworks and build tools like Spring Boot, Maven, CMake.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL) and/or No
  
  SQL databases (e.g., Mongo
  
  DB).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, gRPC and microservices architecture and containerization using Podman, Docker.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
• Quick and enthusiastic learner with intent of adopting latest AI tools and technologies and thinking innovatively.

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia is $66,960.00 USD Annual Minimum to $ USD Annual Maximum. Salary may vary depending on job‑related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance.
