Position: Chapter Next Returnship - Software Engineer (Java, C++)

The Work

In this role, you will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field and at least 1 year of related experience.
Development, integration, troubleshooting experience with the Linux/Unix Operating System.
Experience in software development, integration, troubleshooting using C++, Java.
Experience developing scripts using Bash or Python.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills

Experience / familiarity with SONAR and Signal Processing
Experience with applied mathematics
