• Onsite
• Occasional travel to Navy or customer integration locations as needed.
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year.
On Site | Clearance Required
Responsibilities- Participate in software design, integration, validation, troubleshooting, and deployment efforts.
- Support software development activities across mission‑critical Navy systems, including development, integration, test, and maintenance of software applications.
- Build and enhance full stack applications using Java and JavaScript technologies.
- Participate in agile sprint planning, development cycles, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot software defects and system integration challenges.
- Produce maintainable, readable, documented code aligned with engineering standards.
- Support validation, software integration, and deployment activities.
- Contribute to technical documentation and configuration management efforts.
- Collaborate with software engineers and technical stakeholders in laboratory and operational environments.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active Secret Clearance preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 0–3 years of software engineering or systems integration experience.
- Java/J2EE development experience.
- JavaScript framework experience including React or Vue.
- Relational database experience including Oracle or Postgre
SQL. - Understanding of Hibernate/JPA concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Wild Fly or JBoss EAP.
- Maven.
- Git Lab.
- Docker.
- Linux environments.
- AWS technologies.
- Dev Sec Ops exposure.
- Problem‑solving and troubleshooting capability.
- Adaptability in changing technical environments.
