The WorkLockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer. You will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs, coding in Java/C++ on a Linux operating system. The position requires an active government Secret security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications- Familiarity in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.
- Solid expertise in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Bash and/or Python.
- Experience with Java development.
- Interim Secret or higher Security Clearance.
- Experience in Dev Sec Ops and Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work RemotelyOnsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules. Schedules range from a standard 40‑hour week to condensed schedules that provide additional time away from the office.
Schedule for this Position4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
