Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline and 10+ years of related experience, or equivalent education/professional experience.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong background integrating containerized components within Kubernetes orchestration environments.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.
- Solid expertise in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Bash and/or Python.
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Kubernetes Software Developer. In this role, you will support project initiatives as a Container and Kubernetes Subject Matter Expert, packaging, installing, and deploying containerized capabilities to Navy systems.
This position is located on a Lockheed Martin facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must hold an active government Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills- Experience in Dev Sec Ops and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with C++ and Java software development.
Onsite full‑time: the work will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
