Job Summary
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs.
Basic Qualifications- 3-5+ years of related experience, or post‑secondary degree in a related discipline (experience accepted in lieu of a degree).
- Strong background in Java development, object‑oriented design, and design patterns.
- Experience with FOSS storage solutions and deployment or optimization of software‑defined storage solutions (e.g., Rook CEPH, Mayastor, Longhorn, Net App Trident).
- Familiarity with Linux OS, command line, and shell scripting.
- Secret clearance eligibility; interim Secret required to start.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and Helm charts.
- Experience with Object Broker / Pub/Sub communication patterns such as CORBA and gRPC.
- Familiarity with software pipeline automation tools like Gradle.
- Familiarity with configuration technologies such as JSON and YAML.
- Experience with Git Lab.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance and you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
Work Schedule4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week. Part‑time remote telework is permissible; schedule details will be discussed during hiring.
