The Work:
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time AI Software Engineer where you will be challenged to use your skills in a high‑paced / high‑visibility team environment.
- Education typically aligns with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, however combined education/experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications.
- Experience with LLMs, RAG architecture, and GenAI.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow and PyTorch.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software development using Python, GoLang, Bash, Node/Java script.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Experience in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with command and control systems
- Experience with cloud environments
- Experience integrating software components
Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment - Experience with Nvidia GPU and C++
- Strong background developing / debugging
- Experience in Dev Sec Ops and Agile methodologies.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part‑time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
