Job Overview
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Kubernetes Microservices Software Developer and Integrator. In this role, you will support Navy programs and work on Kubernetes microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters. The position requires a government Secret clearance and is located in Manassas, VA.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or 2+ years of directly related Kubernetes experience and education in lieu of a degree.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong background integrating containerized components within Kubernetes orchestration environments.
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.
- Solid expertise in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Bash and/or Python.
- Experience in Dev Sec Ops and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of C++ and Java software development.
This position requires a government security clearance and a U.S. citizen for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.
