In this role, you will perform tasks supporting Navy programs.

The successful candidate will have experience with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, software development, and Linux. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance. Job Description:

Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.

Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM field with 2+ years of related experience; or equivalent education/experience.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Podman or Docker or Kubernetes.

- Daily user of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Git Lab CI) to automatically compile, run unit/integration tests, and deliver builds

- Experience with Python or Java or C++

- Experience with Linux Operating System
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Desired Skills

- Experience with Git Lab and a variety of CI/CD pipeline strategies to streamline and accelerate software delivery
- Experience in Automation & Dev Ops, including CI/CD definition, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, and release pipeline construction.

- Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters.
