• Operate Hydrovac trucks and equipment professionally and safely.
• Perform hydro excavation to expose underground utilities, dig trenches, and remove debris.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Supervise and mentor laborers or swarmers on the crew.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, DOT regulations, and environmental standards.
• Complete all required documentation (field tickets, inspection logs, job reports).
• Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for safe operation.
• Travel to various job sites and work in diverse weather conditions.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years in vacuum excavation or related construction roles preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL — Manual with Tanker endorsement.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug test.

• Proficiency in operating Hydrovac trucks and related equipment.
• Understanding of water pressure and vacuum systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, utility locates, and site plans.
• Basic mechanical skills for minor repairs and maintenance.
• Familiarity with GPS and mapping tools.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Time management and adaptability.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to safety and continuous learning.

• Willingness to attend company‑provided training.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check.
