Description: Substitute Bus Driver

Job Summary: To transport students to and from school in as safe and secure a manner as possible, while maintaining order on the bus.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum five years driving experience with a valid driver's license required.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation physical, drug and alcohol testing, and a tuberculosis test.

Approved Salary: $19.75

Training will be provided at $16.00/hour upon offer of employment

Physical Requirements: Must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to: a personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.

Significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, or repetitive motions required.
