Substitute Bus Driver –

Position Type: Substitute

Salary: $25.18 per hour

Training: $17.94 per hour upon offer of employment

Job Summary: To transport students to and from school in a safe and secure manner while maintaining order on the bus.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum five years driving experience with a valid driver's license required.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation physical, drug and alcohol testing, and a tuberculosis test.

Physical Requirements: Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, speak, hear, handle, or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as, but not limited to, a personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.

Significant climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, or repetitive motions required.

Candidates with ESL, and foreign language fluency are encouraged to apply.
