Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment at our Martin Brower shop in Manassas, VA
.
Shift: Full‑Time (Wednesday – Saturday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

- Diagnose, rebuild, and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts).
- Complete thorough documentation for work orders and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management system.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicable.
- Complete complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to all company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct tool selection, PPE, machine guarding, and best safety practices.
- Drive Reyes family of businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles as required; maintain a current driver qualification file, including annual motor‑vehicle records check, a completed DOT physical, and safety performance history records request from prior employers within the last three years; CDL holders will also undergo a DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and subject to an FMSCA Clearinghouse review.
- Some travel may be required.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience.
- Must possess own tools.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor‑vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.
- Valid CDL (License
A) highly desired; mandatory in some locations. - Ability to frequently lift, push, and/or pull weights in excess of 50 pounds; occasionally lift, push, and/or pull weights in excess of 100 pounds.
Education and Experience
- Technical school certification.
