This is an on-site contract role for Contract Carriers operating 26ft box trucks for furniture delivery in Manassas, VA. The role involves picking up furniture orders, loading and securing items in the truck, and delivering products safely and on time to customers' homes or business locations. Contract carriers will perform room-of-choice delivery, basic assembly and setup as needed, and manage documentation such as delivery manifests, proof-of-delivery, and any exception reports.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, complying with all transportation regulations, providing professional customer service at each stop, and coordinating with FIDELITONE dispatch and operations teams to resolve delivery issues and improve route efficiency.

• Strong experience in local delivery operations, including operating a 26ft box truck and safely loading, securing, and unloading furniture.
• Knowledge of basic furniture handling, assembly, and in-home placement, with attention to protecting customer property and merchandise.
• Ability to read and follow delivery schedules, route sheets, and manifests, and accurately complete delivery documentation and proof-of-delivery.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanor in customers’ homes and at business locations.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for vehicle type, clean driving record, and compliance with all DOT and local transportation regulations.
• Reliable access to a well-maintained 26ft box truck, appropriate insurance coverage, and capability to meet safety and operational standards.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy furniture items with or without assistance, following safe lifting practices.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently, handle multiple deliveries per day, and adapt to changing route demands.
