Job OverviewRWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Director of Patient Care for for the PICU I at Community Medical Center.
Qualifications- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current New Jersey RN License
- At least 2 years acute care nursing experience or 2 years acute care nursing experience with previous management experience
- Preferred Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating
- BLS Health Care provider through American Heart Association
- Additional certifications may be required as per the Administrative Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation “Certification” Policy
- Night Shift, 40 hours per week
- Manages patient care delivery on an assigned shift.
- Ensure that [unit/department/division] is in compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Leadership skills; critical thinking, problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ambition and desire to positively impact patient care, patient experience and the overall success of the unit.
- Responsibilities include assisting the Director in managing the unit with staff schedules, evaluations, discipline & QI.
