Pines Village is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to lead our 66-bed Skilled Nursing Unit. This full-time leadership position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on resident care while supporting and developing a strong clinical team.
Position SummaryThe Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of the skilled nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and effective communication with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate daily nursing operations for a 66-bed skilled nursing unit.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff.
- Oversee payroll and scheduling of team members
- Conduct performance reviews in a timely manner while providing key feedback for success for team members
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Monitor resident care plans and clinical outcomes.
- Conduct resident assessments and participate in care planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident transitions.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Foster a positive, resident-centered environment.
- Long-term care/skilled nursing experience required.
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to long-term care.
