Saint Bridget School, a Catholic elementary school in Manchester, CT, has an opening for a Pre‑K 4 Aide for the 2026‑2027 academic year. This position requires a dynamic individual that can interact with and support the learning of Pre‑K 4 students.

Responsibilities would include supporting the Pre‑K 4 teaching in creating an engaging learning environment that fosters academic and spiritual growth, develops Pre‑K students’ developmental skills and a love of learning.

Additionally, the candidate must be able to:

• Implement lessons created by the classroom teacher that address Pre‑K students’ spiritual, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
• Use diverse instructional techniques such as modeling, observing, questioning, demonstrating, and reinforcing.
• Encourage children to develop self‑help skills and independence.
• Support the Pre‑K teacher with adapting curriculum to meet individual learning needs.
• Promote positive behavior through redirection, positive reinforcement, and adherence to the school’s behavioral policies.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff.
• Assist students who may need additional support.

Minimum 2 years of successful assisting in early childhood settings.

High school degree required.

Demonstrated ability to lovingly engage young learners.

Strong understanding of early childhood developmental stages.

Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and faith‑based environment.

Practicing Catholic in good standing.
