Business Excellence Manager - Continuous Improvement​/Lean Six Sigma

The Business Excellence Manager is based in Manchester, CT, reporting to the Director of Program Management. The role drives Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, guides continuous improvement projects, and facilitates organizational change. No travel is required.

• Work as a change agent and lead Lean and Six Sigma activities defined in GBE A3.
• Apply and deploy Flex Lean Enterprise Values across the organization.
• Lead efforts to eliminate waste, reduce variation, and create value throughout the organization and segment.
• Utilize Kaizen techniques to initiate process improvements, reduce cycle time, cut costs, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Drive Yokoten best practices based on accord timelines.
• Create and validate processes and standards based on standard work and BPs.
• Conduct Industrial Engineering, Lean and Six Sigma training, and accelerate the proliferation of Lean Continuous Improvement culture.
• Perform assessments of CIMT operation, supply chain, and office, and drive initiatives to close gaps.
• Diligently participate in the selection and execution of Lean and Six Sigma projects.
• For assigned special project or segment/customer priorities, formulate and propose Lean transformation strategy.
• Coach and facilitate Lean transformation activities through Kaizen workshops and small group activities.
• Incentivize participation and training among Flex employees, suppliers, and customers.

• BS in Engineering with preference for Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of regulated manufacturing industry experience (ideally medical devices or similar).
• Proven success leading continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events.
• Demonstrated management skills and technical experience with Finance, HR, Materials, and Operations.
• Excellent attention to detail, adaptability, and strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of the strategic impact of continuous improvement across sites.
