POSITION OVERVIEWX-Ray Industries , an Applus + company, is a well-established non-destructive testing service provider in the Aerospace industry. - High School Diploma or GED required
- To perform this job successfully, the dedicated individual shall have sufficient education, training and experience to ensure qualification as a minimum in / with Radiographic Testing.
- Certifiable to Level 3 per the requirements of XRI 2002 (NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A), i.e., 4 years as a Level 2 is required to qualify for Level 3 certification unless the following conditions are met (per XRI-2002 “A 2 year degree in engineering or science study at a technical school, college or university reduces the above to 2 years experience .
A 3-4 year science or engineering undergraduate degree reduces the above to 1 year experience. - Knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method(s) as used by XRI Testing.
- Have a general knowledge of NDT methods and product manufacturing and inspection technologies used by XRI testing and its customers. Specifically:
- Radiography (X-ray) (RT)
- Digital Radiography (DDA) (DR) (CR)
- To perform this job successfully, an individual shall have sufficient education, training and experience to ensure qualification in their respective method.
- Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
