Volt is immediately hiring for Automation Technicians in Manchester, CT.
As an Automation Technician you will:
- Support automation engineering services activities such as hardware and software design and development
- Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system components
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components and return to serviceability
- Understanding of PLCs
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.
- Proper use of power tools and measuring equipment
- Analyze engineering test results, and implement changes to resolve problems.
- Assist automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.
- Record procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method.
- Maintain software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications.
- Assist engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required for all automation
This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will:
- 2 years of related experience
Pay Rate: $20.00-$25.00 - 1st Shift (7:00am-7:00pm Thursday
-Saturday) AND 3rd Shift (7pm to 7am Wed to Sat)
