About Extended Day Treatment (EDT)

EDT is a therapeutically intensive, group-based program designed to help children ages 5–14 build the social, emotional and coping skills they need to thrive at home, in school and in their communities. Over a 6-month period, children participate in daily peer groups, develop conflict resolution skills, and learn to express their feelings in healthy, productive ways. Families are deeply engaged throughout treatment, with support to strengthen school and community connections.

Services may include group, individual and family therapy, case management and medication management.
