Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN for an acute inpatient behavioral health unit. This role requires strong clinical judgment, crisis intervention skills, and the ability to provide safe, therapeutic care in a structured psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to acute psychiatric patients

• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor changes in condition

• Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic response and side effects

• Implement and support individualized treatment plans

• Utilize de-escalation techniques and maintain patient/staff safety

• Document care accurately and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Active CT RN License

• Minimum 3 years of acute inpatient behavioral health experience

• BLS certification required

• Strong crisis management and communication skills
