This role is suited to someone who enjoys solving manufacturing problems, improving processes, and working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver operational excellence. You'll play a key role in new product introductions, continuous improvement initiatives, and providing technical support across the manufacturing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Lead and support new product introductions, ensuring successful transition from design release through to stable production.
  • Design and implement tooling, fixtures, gauges, and other manufacturing aids, including the use of rapid prototyping and 3D printing where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, process standards, routings, and engineering data to support production activities.
  • Partner with Quality and Operations teams to investigate production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction through process optimisation, improved manufacturability, and the evaluation of automation technologies.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to production teams, including training, engineering change implementation, and day‑to‑day problem solving.
About You
  • Associate degree, or equivalent qualification, in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Around 3+ years' experience within a manufacturing engineering or technical manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience supporting live production operations is essential.
  • High‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
  • A practical, solutions‑focused approach with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
