Travel Registered Nurse – Psychiatric (Inpatient Behavioral Health)

Shift: Nights (NOC)
Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts
Shift Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Overview:
The Psychiatric RN provides direct patient care in an acute inpatient behavioral health setting, supporting patients with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses. This role requires strong assessment skills, therapeutic communication, and experience working independently on night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to inpatient behavioral health patients

• Perform patient assessments and medication administration

• Monitor patient safety and respond to behavioral health crises

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary behavioral health teams

• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• Active RN license

• Minimum of 3 years of recent inpatient psychiatric nursing experience required

• BLS Certification required

• Strong clinical judgment and crisis management skills
