The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room General provides high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team and responding to changes in patient conditions.

• Provide direct and indirect patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate the patient's clinical condition appropriately.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles for age-appropriate care.
• Promote the profession of nursing through collegial support and interactions.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Experience:

• Current licensure in the State of Connecticut

Licenses &

Certifications:

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required upon hire or within the introductory orientation period
