The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU provides high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team and responding to changes in patient conditions. • Facility: Hartford Health Care
• Department/Unit: 91011-MMH ICU
• Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift

• Provide direct and indirect patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate the patient's clinical condition appropriately.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care.
• Promote the profession of nursing through collegial support and interactions.
• Report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

• Current licensure in the State of Connecticut

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or during orientation
