The Registered Nurse (RN) in Inpatient Dual Diagnosis provides high-quality patient-centered care for individuals with dual diagnoses. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering exceptional behavioral health services.

• Pay: Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus
• Location: Manchester, CT
• Facility: Manchester Memorial Hospital
• Department/Unit: 91011-Inpatient Dual Diagnosis
• Schedule: Part Time, Day shift

• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate regularly on the patient's clinical condition.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
• Create and maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic milieu.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan.
• Provide age-appropriate care to the patient population served.
• Promote the profession of nursing through collegial support and interactions.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut

Experience:

• Certification in BLS upon hire
• Training in CPI and de-escalation techniques required within 3 months of hire

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Connecticut
• BLS certification required
